Where does COMSOL evaluate functions for boundaries?

Hi all (again)!
I'm starting to play around with COMSOL and functions defined by myself.
I'm trying to model a Radiation-Exchange process in 2D (in a closed cavity), so I have to define a function that is dependent on the geometry and on the temperature and add it as a boundary condition.

So, I have 2 questions:

1) Since the geometric part does not depend on anything, I would like to calculate it and store it in a file, that can be then read, avoiding to repeat the calculus over and over. The thing is how to know where exactly is going to evaluate COMSOL the function? In the mesh nodes? In some intermediate points?

2) Since the function depends on the temperature of the other points, how can I access that information? It's easy to pass as an argument the self-temperature or coordinates, but is it accessible from within a function the temperatures of every other node?
