09.00 - 10.00: Introduksjon til COMSOL Multiphysics 4.0
Avansert modellering har aldri vært lettere eller mer kraftfullt enn med COMSOL Multiphysics 4.0.
Under introduksjonen får du se hvordan du kan anvende COMSOL Multiphysics til modellering av mange ulike typer fysikk. Vi gjennomgår alle skrittene i modelleringsprosessen som skal til for å bygge en modell med den siste versjonen av programvaren.
Du vil også få tips om hvordan du kan utnytte noen av de mer avanserte mulighetene i COMSOL Multiphysics.
10.15 - 12.00: Minikurs: Lag din første multifysikkmodell
Her får du muligheten til å prøve ut den nye versjonen og selv bygge en modell fra start til slutt under veiledning av en erfaren instruktør fra COMSOL. Dessuten kan du selv utforske hva COMSOL Multiphysics kan innenfor andre relevante områder som f.eks.:
- Elektromagnetisme
- Fluidmekanikk
- Reaksjonskinetikk
- MEMS
- Akustikk

09.00 - 10.00: Introduction to COMSOL Multiphysics 4.0
Advanced modeling has never been easier or more powerful than with COMSOL Multiphysics 4.0. This introduction shows you how to use COMSOL Multiphysics 4.0 for modeling many different types of physics. We will lead you through every step of the modeling process necessary to build a model using the latest version of the software.
You will also get tips on how to use some of the more advanced features of COMSOL Multiphysics.
10.15 - 12.00: Hands-on session: Make your first model
You will be able to try the latest version and build a complete model from scratch under supervision by an experienced instructor from COMSOL. You may also explore the capabilities of COMSOL Multiphysics within relevant areas such as:
- Electromagnetics
- Fluid mechanics
- Reaction kinetics
- MEMS
- Acoustics
- Structural mechanics
- Heat transfer
- Multiphysics couplings

Bård Peter Thrane er utdannet PhD ved Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble i Frankrike med spesialisering innen faste stoffers fysikk og elektromagnetisme.
Han har jobbet for COMSOL siden midten av 2009 med teknisk salg, support og kursing innen COMSOL Multiphysics.

Bård Peter Thrane holds a PhD from Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble in France with specialization in solid state physics and electromagnetism. He has been working in COMSOL since mid 2009 performing courses, support and sales with COMSOL Multiphysics
