In this presentation we present methods for modeling alternative energy sources such as Fuel Cells and Solar Cells.
The presentation also considers aspects of the modern world and what impact the high consuming of energy sources will have on tomorrow's society.

Keynote speaker's biography:
Jake Kim received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Seoul National University (Seoul, Korea), where his research focused on coupled heat and mass transfer.He works at Samsung SDI on designing and developing processes of display and battery production where chemical reaction, mass diffusion, charge transfer, and momentum transfer are coupled with various manners.
Jake Kim was one of the keynote speakers at the COMSOL User's Conference, fall 2006 in Seoul.
